Bespoke Wedding and Engagement
Nothing brings me more joy than offering a completely personalised service when it comes to jewellery.
I've been there...got engaged and visited a very well known area of London specialising in jewellery. But I honestly left feeling deflated.
The first questions we were asked in almost every shop were "What size carat do you want? What's your budget?".
It felt very impersonal and I could instantly tell that it was a case of simply matching diamond A with setting B and someone else (who'll never meet) makes the ring and Voila.
There were no options to customise the design, no alternative gemstones and no intricate, unique finishes. The experience didn't feel very special...rather the antithesis of the commitment we were entering into by getting married.
My passion is offering a unique and personalised bespoke service. I honestly believe that your dream wedding jewellery is possible, regardless of your budget.
White diamonds may be considered as the most traditional, but there's an aurora of alternative gemstones that are equally suited to matrimonial rings that are more friendly on the wallet, without compromising on durability or aesthetic.
Every piece I create is hand fabricated from scratch. Not cast from a mould, but melted from precious metal grain and gradually formed into the various elements needed in order to construct a piece of jewellery to your exact wishes. It's a mindful process, but it always results in an end-piece of the highest quality and durability.
I handcraft sustainably from recycled precious metals or Single Mine Origin Gold. If you choose the latter, I'll let you know the batch code of the gold so you can look up the mine it originated from (and read about all the amazing community initiatives the mine supports).
All of the gemstones I work with are ethically sourced from a small number of reputable suppliers that I have established relationships with, and I can offer sound advice on the durability of different gemstones that you might be interested in.
