Wedding Bands

All wedding bands at NV start out with precious metal casting grain. Smelted to liquid form, poured into an ingot, and then rolled in a mill to form the shape. Each one is hand filed to refine the shape and hand finished.

It's a lengthy process, but so rewarding, and so meaningful to know that the ring has been hand forged from scratch, rather than mass-produced.

Below I offer you some inspiration on different wedding ring profiles. Because I handcraft from scratch, I offer infinite options for customisation - whether you'd like it thicker or thinner, tapered or uniform, high-shine or satin, hammered or faceted...the choice really is yours. And of course, each one can be made even more bespoke with the addition of gemstones or mixing of precious metal alloys.

Ever evolving, there's no one-style-fits-all when it comes to engagement rings.

The traditional white sparkling diamond may be a firm favourite for many, but there's been a huge surge in coloured diamonds and alternative gemstones, coupled with contemporary, innovative designs.

There are no rules to abide by when designing your dream wedding or engagement ring, though rest assured I will always offer sound advice on durable gemstones and settings, so that you can be confident your beloved jewellery stands the test of time.

If you're unsure what to go for pre-proposal day, I will happily create a 'proposal ring' in silver, the value of which will be deducted from your purchase of the 'real thing'.
