One of my favourite natural gemstones - Zircon, in a calm and relaxing sage green colour, set in a contemporary Argentium silver bezel and court ring band. Finished with a lustrous satin finish that catches the light subtly. 

Natural Zircon, not to be confused with the synthetic cubic zirconia, has been set in jewellery since antiquity, and is believed to be the oldest gemstone on the planet (far older than diamonds).

It's a stunning gemstone to look at...with amazing brilliance and lustre. It is doubly refractive, which means that as light enters the gem, it splits in two with the facets of the gemstone acting like mirrors to bounce the light rays out again. 

Argentium silver is hypoallergenic, tarnish resistant, purer than sterling 925 silver and brighter in colour.
